The biggest, most recent, change has been painting the livingroom. Yes, that's orange. In daylight, it tends to look a bit more sedate than in this picture, but the color changes the character of the entire first floor. We plan on painting the trim a deep red.

The front hallway has become the temporary bike storage location. We just ordered some wall hooks for the basement, so they'll get hung down there soon. But for now, they give the place a lived-in, easy feeling.

The wine rack. Once every so-many weeks, we make a trip to liquor world and come back with a case of wine to load up the rack. It's nice having a dozen or so bottles of wine at the ready for whenever you might just have a craving. Like tonight, or last night, or...

We've quickly been reaching the space limitations in our kitchen. You can see the counter is pretty well filled. For obvious reasons, this is Riley's favorite room.

We spun through a local flea-market and picked up a rack for the bathroom instead of those rolling racks we had a month ago. In the lower left and near the door, you can see two candles the we leave burning most of the time. Any smell from the construction days is gone and the house actually smells pretty nice.

Michelle's favorite appliance. Conveniently located next to the bedroom. We still need to put a door up and throw some sound insulation on the walls. When this thing going into spin mode, you know it.

The pile of boxes is gone, the contents distributed throughout the house. Until we get the closet built, we've been relying on the rolling garmet rack. It's not a bad solution, actually, though it's a bit small for both of us and all our hangables.

The other side of Michelle's studio. She went out and picked up two shelf units. I have one in my office and the other is in her studio. (with the mouse ears). For some reason, her's filled up faster.
