This is the nasty part - scraping the ceilings. It's tough work physically, and you can't help but get messy with all the wallpaper falling on you.
Here's a good shot of the partially done living room ceiling. You can see how the process goes: scratch the paper, steam the paper, scrape the paper, repeat. Once the wallpaper is stripped, we'll be able to patch those holes.

The front hallway has been scraped clean. Notice the different textures on the right and left side of the ceiling. The left side (and the wall) has been cleaned with vinegar. Vinegar is great for disolving and removing 100 year old wallpaper paste and grime.

A crooked shot of the shower walls, installed. Add some glass walls and I'm ready to get naked and wet.
The poop nook - roughed out with wallboard.
We've covered over the pipes and ductwork with drywall. Once finished, these will be a pair of nice, simple columns.

Tilt your head - it's the shower.

The old coal and wood burning stove. It's for sale. Make an offer.
This stove is heavy old porcelain. It would be a real shame to have to throw it out. We're trying to find a good dealer who'd like to find a permanent home for it.
This baby actually has 8 burners.
A nice retro timer and salt/pepper "spice rack."
Detail. Nice metalwork.
Central Air - Installed. A brand new quiet compressor sits right outside. The heat inside is nice and consistent throughout the house. A job well done by the heating folks.

Back up in the bathroom, we've roughed out the sink counter. You can see the plumbing for two pedastal sinks very clearly now protruding from the wallboard. The shelf area is also much more defined now.
Another shot of the sink counter. The entire bathroom is roughed out. Next step - floor tile.
